My name is Sandra Ortega and I'm the founder of SÁAS Interior Design. The word “SÁAS” means " light" in Mayan. It refers to the inner light that shines from each of us, and the life force that inspires our actions in the world.

To me, this expresses interior design perfectly because our living spaces are extensions of who we are. Every space is a reflection of what you want to create in the world, and I’m passionate about helping you bring your vision to life.

My designs focus on comfort, flow,sustainability, and simplicity.

I love helping my clients align their living spaces with how they want to feel — both inside and outside. I cherish those magic moments when you feel like your essence is in perfect connection to your environment.

With my Mexican background and passion for travelling, I get inspiration from my surroundings and my wonderful Mexi-Canadian family — including my dog Taco. I put my heart and soul into everythingI create and I would be excited to help bring your next interior design project to life!
